Lion Water

The University of Nigeria Water Resources Management Laboratory Limited, popularly referred to as Lion Water was commissioned on January 27, 2007 by Dr. (Mrs) Oby Ezekwesili, Hon. Minister of Education under the administration of Prof. C.O. NEBO (the Vice-Chancellor) and has as its certificate of incorporation; NO. RC. 653900 dated May 19, 2006. The project was commissioned with the mission to package clean, sparkling and wholesome water for members of the university community and other consumers outside the school.
Propelled by a vision to eradicate water borne diseases within our environment through the supply of wholesome water, drinking water produced passes through the “point of use treatment” which is one of the methods advocated for by the World Health Organisation. This method covers microbiological, chemical and physical water treatments.
The items produced, with their NAFDAC Reg. No are:
• Lion Sachet Water- A1-01901
