Adequate Banking facilities are available on both campuses of the University. There are also a number of Banks in Enugu and Nsukka towns. Additionally, the University of Nigeria also runs her own Community Bank, the University of Nigeria Micro-Finance Bank. These banks serve the students, staff and general public as well. Students purchase their payment scratch cards in these banks as well as make other school payments. There are six banks within the Nsukka campus namely:

• United Bank of Africa
• First Bank of Nigeria
• Diamond Bank Plc
• The University of Nigeria Micro Finance Bank

Along the Enugu Road within the heart of Nsukka town, some other banks are situated as well:

• Fidelity Bank Plc
• Zenith Bank Plc
• Bank PHb

These banks also partner with the school in funding certain projects and profitable activities on campus as one of the sights to catch your interest is the array of project vehicles, buses and the likes, donated by these banks. Student organizations also benefit from the public services of these banks in the production and publication of journals, faculty magazines and year books.
