Halls of Residence

The University of Nigeria admits residential and non-residential students. All residential students live in rooms usually furnished with wardrobes, writing tables, chairs and bookshelves. The institution also usually supplies beds, pillows and mattresses.
There are 13 hostels for the female students and 3 large hostels built closely together in an area that has come to be known as the Franco Republic for the male students.
